Inspiration comes from various places. In this case the song in the 1992 version of Aladdin:
"Arabian nights, like Arabian days more often than not are hotter than hot in a lot of good ways"
These slippers are meant to be an easy breezy summer option for when we wish for something light and airy, but still want to be fabulous...cuz of course.
I only have enough fabric for two pairs, after that the particular design is gone forever as it was hunted down in an antiques store.
